Our beta biothane neck collar can be an alternative to a halter for some horses. It's waterproof, fadeproof and sweatproof for use in the stall, the field or under saddle. Designed to rest on a comfortable spot on the horse's neck without sliding over the ears.

 

This neck collar features a buckle closure and is fully adjustable.

 

A range of colors available for maximum visibility or a traditional black or brown. Choose from nickel-plated, brass, or stainless steel hardware.

Now with the option to order a nameplate or a hanging tag to personalize your neck collar! Choose your preferred plate color or tag color and shape (circle or heart). Please note, neck collars with plates or hanging tags will take longer in production. Plates and hanging tags are not eligible for rush shipping. Hanging tags may ship separately. Plates may not be added to neck collars made from with neoprene padding.

The weather hadn’t been cooperating for me to try this on turn out, but we finally dried enough for the horses to not have to swim. I tried another neck collar, years ago, and it would not stay in place, even if it was even overtightened. This bright, biothane one stayed put! I put it on for some liberty work, and it did not move an inch. Dink can be a bit “just out of reach” sometimes, and this gave a nice way to stop the scooting. Also this bright color would be great for visual marking at night or on a high line, as you can still see it with minimal light! Dink and I give it two ears up!

The neck collar (I have a beta biothane one) was absolutely perfect for the new little “hard-to-catch” pony! It fits her wonderfully and looks super cute as well! It is easy to put on and take off, very easy to clean, and a perfect alternative to a halter especially while grooming her pretty little face! I would definitely recommend one of these for anyone who is looking for either an alternative to a halter or an easy way to groom around your horse or pony’s cute faces! Truly a great addition to any barn! Yayyyy Two Horse Tack!!!!!! ❤️🦄

Love the padded neck collar! The bright colors would be perfect for camping in case the horse got loose. The material is very soft
