This breast collar is 3 1/4 inches wide close to the ring. Waaaay too big. Very unsatisfied with breastcollar. It is an amazing breastcollar in all other ways but just waaay too wide. It might fit a draft horse well. Too small for 14hh horses. Leather is 1/4 inch thick by ring and 1/8 inch thick farther up on breastcollar. Hope measurments help. BTW I bought for " Horse" 14 -16 hh.
