New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program is a rehabilitation and adoption program for off-track Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses with locations in five states. It provides education both to the horses in its program and to people in the horse community about the plight of the retired racehorse. Since its foundation in 1992, New Vocations has placed nearly 5,000 horses in qualified homes from 30 different racetracks. The program is a 501(c)3 and is accredited through the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance.
